Michelle Arroyo is a visiting assistant professor in Teaching & Learning at UNLV. She teaches face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses focused on helping teacher education students learn methods and theories about teaching. She has extensive teaching experience in elementary grades at CCSD and Academia Charter Schools. She earned her Ph.D. in teacher education from UNLV and taught as a graduate assistant.

Arroyo was selected as the Graduate Teacher of the Year in 2019 by the College of Education.
