Mike’s interest in a career in construction began with a summer job on a Navy base in Rota, Spain where he worked on a plethora of projects including harbor dredging, a hospital, jet engine test facility, runway resurfacing, and more.  He has continued his 30+ years experience working for a general contractor in Seattle, as well as stints at his Alma Mater, Washington State University, and the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.  Mike greatly enjoys the breadth of knowledge, personal dedication, and teamwork of the Planning & Construction Department.
