Michael Root is a professional classical guitarist from Asheville, North Carolina. He has performed at venues around the world, and is lauded for his deeply romantic interpretation. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s of music degrees from UNC School of the Arts, as well as a doctorate of music from UNLV, all in classical guitar performance. Michael is now based out of Las Vegas, and teaches guitar at UNLV and Nevada School of the Arts.
