Mia started with the Student-Athlete Academic Services team in 2023. As the academic support specialist, she is primarily responsible for the Textbook Scholarship Loan Program, Equipment/Supplies Program, Academic Awards/Honors event planning, and advising Spirit Squads. Before entering this role, Mia was a graduate assistant for the SAAS unit working with spirit squad student-athletes, and transitioned into her current responsibilities.

Mia earned her B.A. in communication studies and business administration from UNLV in 2023. During her time as an undergraduate student, she was a member of the cheer team for 4 years and won two national titles. Mia is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in Intercollegiate and Professional Sports Management at UNLV. Mia is originally from Endwell, New York.
