Mellanye Lackey, MSI, earned a Masters in the Science of Information from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Holyoke College. She joined UNLV in 2019 after working at health sciences libraries at the University of Utah and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mellanye has special interests in promoting and ensuring research reproducibility, providing systematic review services, and creating diverse and welcoming library environments for faculty, students and staff. She is a 2018/2019 Medical Library Association/Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries Leadership Fellow, learning best practices in medical library management and leadership from nationally-regarded directors of medical and health sciences libraries.
