Melissa Park was born in Denver, Colorado, then moved to Las Vegas at a young age. She began dancing at seven and has studied jazz, modern, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. Park graduated from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts with a major in dance in 2016. Looking to continue her passion for dance and academia, she attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she advanced her knowledge, love, and appetite for dance and discovered an interest in choreography. Park choreographed several pieces showcased in different dance concerts. She graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography and a film minor in 2022. Park plans to perform for a few years before returning to school and furthering her education by getting her MFA in choreography.
