Training Coordinator
Biography
Matt Gyger is the Title IV-E training coordinator for the Nevada Partnership for Training (NPT). He has a master’s of social work degree with an emphasis in management and community practice from UNLV. He has over 20 years of experience working in organizational development and has worked in the School of Social Work for the past 13 years. He currently has leadership and oversight for all of the NPT’s endeavors - the Nevada Child Welfare Training Academy, new supervisor training, in-service specialty training, and recently added, Title IV-E Child Welfare Stipend Program.
Matt’s interests specific to training include transfer of learning, the effect of organizational culture and climate on the workforce, implementation science, and the use of technology as a tool in workforce development.
