Mary Kleven is a native Nevadan. She enjoyed working in government positions for 35 years, the last as a senior management analyst for the city of Las Vegas before retiring. She became the administrator for her husband Keith's successful physical therapy practice, which focused on sports rehabilitation, treating professional and amateur athletes and entertainers for more than 40 years in Las Vegas and around the world. Keith also served as an adjunct PT professor at UNLV and treated many UNLV athletes, including the golf team. They enjoyed their years together traveling the world and spending quality time with family and friends. When Keith passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2019, Mary established the Mary S. and D. Keith Kleven, M.S., P.T. scholarship in his honor, which provides an annual scholarship to a physical therapy student and a brain health Ph.D. candidate.
