Marie Reff is originally from Upper Michigan. She moved to Las Vegas in 2002 to pursue a career as a ballet dancer and attend UNLV. After a decade-long break from school, she returned to UNLV and earned her B.A. in history and MFA in writing for dramatic media. While in graduate school, the opportunity to teach screenwriting helped her realize her passion for working with students. Now as a member of the Lee Business School advising team, she looks forward to supporting students as they work towards achieving their academic and career goals. In her free time, Marie enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and writing historical screenplays. Her dream is to one day have a vegetable garden that actually survives the Las Vegas heat.
