My name is Lydia Berhanu, and I am a Junior at UNLV! I am majoring in secondary education social studies and can't wait to start my high school teaching journey post-graduation. I was born and raised here in Las Vegas, but I love traveling and I'm always visiting somewhere new. In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading books, playing volleyball, and spending time with my friends and family! I have been told I am a very positive and outgoing person because I love meeting new people and always choose to live my life in the best way I can. My personal mantra is "No Rain, No Flowers" and I can't wait to be a Peer Mentor for the PALS program.
