Biography

Dr. Lisa Taylor is an Assistant Professor in Residence and the Director of Clinical Education for the Physical Therapy Deaprtment. She earned her bachelor of science degree in kinesiology and her doctor of physical therapy (DPT) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas during 2005 and 2009 respectively. Dr. Taylor has worked in the rehabilitation and outpatient pediatric settings and currently works per diem in the inpatient pediatrics setting at Summerlin Hospital and Medical Center. She is also a certified neonatal therapist (CNT), an ABPTS Pediatric Clinical Specialist, and is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor. She has been a part-time instructor for the department of physical therapy since 2017 teaching Pediatric Rehabilitation and transitioned into a full time position as Director of Clinical Education in May of 2021.
