Krystal Alexander (she/her) is originally from Hawaii and has lived in Oregon, California, Texas and Illinois before moving to Nevada in 2021. She is a first-generation college graduate, earning her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Portland State University (PSU), and a master’s degree in higher education administration from National University. Krystal’s interest in higher ed started early in her undergraduate career as an involved student organization leader with the Pacific Islanders Club, Multicultural Center student worker, and PSU student ambassador. She began her career in higher education as an admissions advisor and held various roles in community colleges and four-year universities. Krystal is passionate about helping students navigate higher education and empowering students to achieve their goals. In her spare time, Krystal can be found exploring the Vegas food scene, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with her husband, family, and two adorable rescue dogs.
