Biography
Kim Virtuoso is an instructor with UNLV Continuing Education in the human resource, management, and organizational leadership certificates. Additionally, she teaches customized training for organizations through UNLV Continuing Education. She is a recognized practitioner in the fields of leadership coaching and HR consulting, with considerable experience and a proven track record for motivating, influencing, and guiding leaders to unlock the potential within themselves and their teams. She courageously tackles organizational leadership, team engagement, and aligning the talent strategy to the business objectives. Kim spent over 15 years in both operational and human resources leadership roles in the hospitality, gaming, and entertainment industries with Fortune 500. Her work in partnering with business leaders and their teams is underscored by the concept that talent management and leadership development are critical to be woven into the business strategy. She helps leaders identify solutions to complex issues, develop strategies to align talent to the company’s objectives rooted in data-driven decisions, and coaches to accelerate professional growth and open lines of communication to instill candor, feedback, and vulnerability into a culture. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, with an emphasis in human resources from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also holds her master’s in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. Kim obtained her Senior Professional Human Resources Certification (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute and is a certified coach from The Leets Consortium (TLC).
