Ken Young, known as the Captain, is a California native. Ken is often referred to as the singing cop, as he served 31 years with the Clark County School District Police Department and will retire in November 2023 as a division captain. As a law enforcement officer, Ken was the voice of the department for 20 years, and he could be seen regularly on local and national news or hosting events and podcasts.

Ken’s diverse resume includes community service, faith-based leadership, youth advocacy, youth mentorship, and most notably, being an accomplished entertainer. Ken performs locally and nationally as a well-seasoned vocalist, and he is also an emerging voice actor. Ken joined the KUNV team in 2023, where his rich voice can be heard currently on Saturday Classics.
