Dr. Karen E. Callahan is an Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the School of Public Health at UNLV. She recently completed her PHD in Public Health at UNLV with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics; her dissertation work focused on Colorectal Cancer. She enjoys sharing her passion for Public Health in the classroom as well as collaborating with colleagues from across the globe on research projects. She presents her research at local, national, or international conferences, often sponsored by the organizations of which she is a member: the Nevada Public Health Association, the American Public Health Association, and the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries.
