​Jung Min (MJ) is a mixed media artist who was born in Seoul, South Korea, and currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. MJ creates sculptures, drawings and installations that utilize her body, humor, and taboo in order to investigate the collision between being "traditional" and "Westernized." Her work explores the discomfort and conflict that she continues to face as part of a young generation of Koreans who are situated somewhere between Korean culture, Western values and individuality. She earned Her BFA in sculpture from Kookmin University, Seoul, South Korea and a MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art.
