Josephine Sun, MD, who completed her medical training through the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Pediatrics Residency Program, is now an assistant professor of pediatrics at the medical school.

Her primary clinical roles include caring for patients in the UNLV Health Pediatric Clinic and for newborns at the Sunrise Hospital Nursery. She is active in medical education and enjoys teaching medical students and resident physicians during their clinical rotations.

Dr. Sun received her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry at the University of Utah before earning her MD degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Fluent in Mandarin, Dr. Sun, who spent half her childhood in Taiwan, is eager to reach the Chinese community of Las Vegas and care for their children’s medical needs.
