Jonathan Wirjo, DO, an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, received his medical degree from Western University Health Sciences.

He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.

Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and former president of the Nevada Psychiatric Association, Dr. Wirjo is chair of psychiatry at Mountain View Hospital. He treats patients on the psychiatry consultation service at UMC hospital.

Dr. Wirjo served as medical director of Seven Hills Behavioral Hospital, as well as senior psychiatrist with Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services.

His research has appeared in the Journal of Headache.
