Born and raised in Las Vegas, Jonathan earned his bachelor's and Master of Business Administration and Master of Science - Quantitative Finance degrees from UNLV. Prior to his graduate studies and the pandemic, he had 11 years of experience in education as a private tutor for mainly college math, physics, and chemistry. Jonathan is part of the new management associate program at Credit One Bank and will be rotating through different departments such as marketing, treasury and finance, risk, and information technology. The exposure that he will receive across these departments will allow him to better understand the inner workings of the consumer financial services industry and serve as a platform for a leadership position in the future. He specializes in proformas, calculating hurdle rates, sensitivity analyses, and managing vendor relationships in direct mail. This is an exciting opportunity for Jonathan as he hopes to make meaningful contributions to drive business decisions. He has also co-authored a working paper with Anjala Krishen, Ph.D. and Paula Peter, Ph.D. on intellectual humility and how it relates to knowledge creation.
