John “JD” Diaz, born and raised in San Diego, moved to Las Vegas in 2006 to earn his degree in marketing at UNLV. His real estate journey began in 2015 after being hired as marketing manager for Shea Homes, the number one privately held builder across the US. JD ultimately wanted to learn the game of real estate, so he obtained his real estate license simultaneously and that's where he fell in love with it all. JD became a top agent within his first year of sales with Shea Homes. Entering general real estate in 2017, JD became a “Top 1% Agent” within the first year. With his marketing background he ultimately knew what needed to be done to stand apart with high-level marketing and branding. With a good social following, and utilizing all social platforms including Instagram, YouTube and Vimeo, he stands apart. JD formed the Diaz Luxe Group at Keller Williams Southern Nevada in 2020, a top-producing team that focuses on luxury homes. Within the first year the Diaz Luxe Group became the number one team. As his saying goes, “real estate is a relationship career, not a sales job.” JD lives with his wife of 11 years, Rachel, and their 7-year-old daughter, Teagan.
