Joann Strobbe is the executive associate dean for finance and administration for the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. For nearly 29 years prior to her 2018 arrival in Southern Nevada, she was a key figure in the building of the business foundations for the University of South Florida (USF) College of Medicine and what came to be known as USF Health -- the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health and Nursing.

She has also served as national chair for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Business Affairs Group; national chair for the Association of Academic Health Centers (AAHC) Senior Finance Officers; and as Senior Associate Vice President for USF Health. Joann Strobbe holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and higher education and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
