Biography
Dr. Jim Jobin is a board approved supervisor as both a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Jim's doctorate is in Integrated Behavioral Health from Arizona State University, his master degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, and his bachelor degree is in Religion, also from Liberty University.
Dr. Jobin founded a private practice in Summerlin which has received the "Best of Las Vegas" award the past four years consecutively. Jim has also served as a twice governor appointed member of Nevada's Behavioral Health Policy and Advisory Board, as President of the Nevada Counseling Association, and as President of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Southern Nevada. Before private practice, Jim worked in administrative roles as Chief Operating Officer of a multi-state substance abuse treatment hospital and as Clinical Director of behavioral health programs.
Dr. Jobin is passionate about educating the public on mental health, encouraging effective psychotherapy, and training the world's best future mental health professionals.
