Jenny (She/Her/Ella) is a first generation Latina student. She has a passion for helping others grow and overcome obstacles. Jenny graduated from UNLV in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education, curriculum, and instruction, with a focus in multicultural education. In addition to a master's program, Jenny is also pursuing a second bachelor's degree in speech pathology. While not busy working full-time and studying, Jenny enjoys picking up new languages. She is currently learning her third language, sign language, and plans to one day be fluent in four. Jenny aims to help students who are deaf or hard of hearing without an interpreter. In her free time, you can find Jenny crafting, cooking, or volunteering. Jenny’s favorite quote to live by is, “Do things for people not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are.”
