Biography

Janice is an assistant professor in residence at the School of Nursing and works in a private practice as a full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She has lived in the Las Vegas area for over 20 years. Her nursing experiences include oncology and obstetrics. Before becoming a certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner, she worked for many years as a labor and delivery nurse in local Las Vegas hospitals. As an advanced practice registered nurse, in addition to providing full-scope midwifery services, she has also worked in various specialty settings, including reproductive health care and breast care.
