Janelle Yasukochi began her career at UNLV in 2017. She is currently the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Advising Practice in the Office of the Associate Vice Provost for Student and Academic Success. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, worked abroad in Fukuoka, Japan for three years, and then moved to Las Vegas (A.K.A. the 9th Hawaiian Island). She earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biochemistry at California State University, East Bay and her Master's of Business Administration at UNLV. She enjoys spending time with her family, meeting new people, traveling, eating great food, and watching the latest TV dramas and movies.
