Biography

James Jabile, MD, FAAP, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics. Growing up in the Philippines with many cousins and children around, Dr. Jabile always knew he wanted to be a pediatrician. He studied at and graduated from the premier medical university in the Philippines – the University of the Philippines Manila College of Medicine. After completing medical school, he came to the states and did his pediatrics residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Jabile has served as a medical director and has worked extensively in community healthcare. He simultaneously owned and operated a private practice while also working in the pediatric emergency room at Elmhurst Hospital Center in NY. These positions enhanced his skills and helped him gain knowledge across all aspects of children’s care.

He has a passion for helping families care for their newborn babies, as well as a passion for helping families manage their children’s asthma, allergies, and challenges – like ADHD and obesity. He firmly believes that children can overcome any obstacles in life as long as they have a loving family and a supportive medical community.
