Why did you choose the obstetrics and gynecology residency program at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV?
I chose UNLV because of the camaraderie amongst the residents and because I was impressed by what the residents could handle early on in their training when I was a sub-intern. I also love the beautiful mountain views in Las Vegas!

What are your interests within obstetrics and gynecology?
I love everything within the specialty and the daily variety between gynecologic surgeries, clinic, contraceptive counseling, and delivering babies. I can’t wait to be a generalist!

What is your favorite thing to do in Las Vegas?
Hiking at Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, and Mt. Charleston with my bernedoodle!

What is one fun fact about you?
Every year, I am Beyoncé’s top 0.5% listener on Spotify. She fills 3 of my top 5 artist spots (Beyoncé, Destiny’s Child, and The Carters).

What is one piece of advice you would give to candidates interested in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program?
Consider how well you feel you’d fit within the programs. I have contributed most of my happiness over the last three years to my co-residents who make work fun! It’s important to have a good support system during the challenging years of residency.
