Biography
Grace Goodwin joined the CANE Lab in Spring 2023 as a Clinical Psychology doctoral student. Grace was previously in the Neuropsychology Research Program under Dr. Daniel Allen and conducted research on sport-related concussion. Her master’s thesis examined the network structure of cognitive abilities, influential cognitive abilities within those networks, and the way in which cognitive networks change following SRC. Currently, Grace is interested in the association between neuropsychiatric symptoms and neuropsychological performance in neurodegenerative diseases. Grace hopes to continue to use innovative statistical methods to better characterize and differentiate neurodegenerative disorders with the aim of identifying patient-specific intervention targets. She is passionate about open and translational science and effective science communication. Grace has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Dance from Loyola Marymount University, an master's degree in Psychological Science from University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, and master's degree in Clinical Psychology from UNLV.
