Garrett Carpio was born and raised in Hawai'i and came to Las Vegas after graduating from high school (Kamehameha '99). While attending UNLV, Garrett served as President of the UNLV Hawai'i Club for two years. Garrett graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Communications. After graduating, he spent 15 years working in the Las Vegas hospitality industry (MGM Resorts, Wynn Resorts) where he developed a passion for training and development. Today he works as an Experience Manager for Swickard Auto Group. Garrett embraces his Hawaiian culture by being an active hula dancer for Hālau Nā Lei O Kahikilani, a local hula group.
