Elizabeth started with the School of Nursing in 1997 as an Administrative Assistant II. She worked in that position for two years before going to our sister school the University of Nevada, Reno in their Southern Admissions Office. She came back to the UNLV main campus in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant III for the Air Force ROTC detachment but returned to her true passion for Nursing students in 2006. She earned her Associate's Degree in Business in 2010 at the College of Southern Nevada and her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 2013 here at UNLV. Elizabeth is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education. 

As Director of Student Services, Elizabeth is responsible for any student needs except for coursework. She has started a new tutoring program to help students with concept issues from class as well as strengthen the tutor's understanding of student needs as the tutors are students from our MSN Nursing Education track. She works on student engagement by working with Student Government to plan events that enrich the Nursing School experience. Elizabeth manages all of the scholarship funds and works with students who are struggling to ensure they are successful.
