Ebenezer Belete

Biography

Ebenezer Belete is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in learning sciences. Since August 2021, he has been teaching educational psychology and seminars in the undergraduate program at UNLV. The United States is the fifth country where he has worked as an educator. Now a naturalized American, Ebenezer previously taught in Ethiopia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Malaysia (in an off-campus program) before moving to the U.S. as a permanent resident in 2019.

Education

In his 15 years of service as a lecturer and instructor in higher education, he has taught more than 25 subjects, primarily in psychology. His research interests include collaborative learning, AI in education, and cross-cultural psychology. In addition to teaching, Ebenezer enjoys conducting workshops and seminars, traveling, photography, and creating educational videos. His family travel videos were featured on FOX5 Vegas in 2020, and the free resources and tutorials he prepares for fellow educators are available on his personal website.
