Biography
Michelle Coyner is an assistant professor-in-residence in UNLV's Intercollegiate and Professional Sports Management (IPSM) program and serves as the director for the undergraduate certificate in sport leadership and management. In addition, she leads student engagement initiatives to connect students with the sports industry in Las Vegas and beyond through internships and field experiences. Coyner earned her B.S. in marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno, her master of sports administration (M.S.A) and master of business administration (M.B.A) from Ohio University, and her Ph.D. in higher education from UNLV. Coyner is passionate about teaching and creating meaningful student experiences.
Coyner's teaching and research interests include NCAA policy, economics, finance, and data analytics.
