Debbie was a Senior Academic Advisor, COLA 100e part-time instructor, the High School Dual Enrollment Advisor, and a Graduate Assistant Academic Success Coach all in the Academic Success Center before joining the College of Liberal Arts. She was the NACADA Region 9 Excellence in Advising winner for 2019. Her undergraduate degrees: Interamerican Studies and Business Administration/Marketing were both from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, where she also met her husband of nearly 30 years – Manny. Debbie completed three masters degrees at UNLV: MBA & Hotel Management ’06, and Higher Education ’16. Debbie has three children – all Rebels! As a first- generation college student, Debbie believes everyone who wants to be successful in college will make it happen with the right help and advice. Se habla español.
