David McGraw is an Embedded Instructional Technologist with the Office of Online Education.  David curates UNLV’s Online Education Microlearning videos, leveraging experience and effective practices to create professional and informative content to share with faculty. He joined UNLV in January 2022 after completing his Master’s Degree in Learning Design and Technology from Arizona State University. David has previously taught Website Design, Microsoft Office, and Computer Science before his transition to being an Administrative Faculty. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Film from Arizona State University and has an extended background in information technology and video and audio production.

As part of David’s studies, he researches how alternative forms of media can be utilized in the classroom to enhance student’s learning experiences and improve engagement and content retention. He utilizes these hands-on practices in his own courses, leveraging student’s interests to engage them in course activities.
