David Jackson joined the Division of Health Sciences Advising Center in Spring 2020. He has worked at UNLV since 2003, with previous stops at the Office of Admissions and Student-Athlete Academic Services. David earned both of his degrees from Texas Tech University; a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems in 2001, and a master's degree in Higher Education Administration in 2002. Although David's academic background is in I.T. and education, he comes from a family of medical & health professionals (EMT, surgeon, nurse, dietitian). He looks forward to supporting future health professionals in the DHS Advising Center at UNLV. David is a Vegas Golden Knights super fan and is excited to welcome the Raiders to Las Vegas.
