Daniel Coyle

Biography
A native of Las Vegas, Daniel earned both his M.A. and B.A. degrees in communication studies from UNLV. Daniel’s involvement with the Honors College began with teaching Honors Public Speaking while working in the University Advancement unit on campus. He joined the Honors College staff in 2013 to help advise students, teach courses, and expand community support. Daniel now serves as the director of communications where he coordinates the college’s communication efforts with future students, current students, alumni and the wider community.
Daniel also serves as a part-time instructor for HON 101: Honors Public Speaking and has been the faculty advisor for the Honors Student Council since 2017. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, trail running, playing instruments, but most of all – spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
