Research

Daniel Corey uses tropical techniques to study algebraic varieties, especially Grassmannians, flag varieties, curves, and moduli spaces. His research also meets graph theory, matroid theory, polyhedral geometry and surface topology. Software is an essential feature in my work, both to explore and test hypotheses and for proving new theorems.
