Dana has designed scenery throughout the country including New York: The Runner Stumbles (Beckett), The Dining Room (25th anniversary revival, Keen Company at the Clurman), Wood, The Musical (Gene Frankel), Major Barbara, Intimate Apparel (NYU); Los Angeles: Elizabeth Rex (Ovation Award, Best Set Design), Mother Courage, Company (LA Weekly Annual Theater Award nomination), Much Ado About Nothing, Godspell (in American Sign Language). Eight West Coast premieres including: My Night With Reg (Knightsbridge), Desdemona’s Handkerchief (Attic Theatre), A-Bomb Beauties, (Burbage), Neon Psalms (Theatre West); Twelve World premieres including Facing The Calm (Knightsbridge), Love Acts (Coast Playhouse), Departures (NoHo Arts Center); Recent Regional: The Dining Room (Dorset Theatre Festival) Angels In America (Yale Dramatic Assoc., New Haven), Anna In The Tropics (Sierra Repertory). Dana earned his BA at Whitman College, where he just finished serving as Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre and Resident Scenic Designer for the 2008-2009 academic year and his MFA at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. Dana is a member of the United Scenic Artists 829 and an associate member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.
