He continued to the University of Nevada School of Medicine for his medical school training and completed his medical education with a dual internal medicine/pediatrics residency program carried out at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
As a practicing physician in Las Vegas, the hospitality capital of the world, he noted the lack of service excellence in healthcare. As founder of EPITOMEDICAL, Vegas’s first combined private concierge internal medicine and pediatrics facility, and VEDIUS, a luxury medical house call service, he based them on the core values of humility, hospitality, respect, integrity and accountability. After 20+ years of patient care, the Association of Hospitality in Healthcare - AHIH was created; striving to perfect the overall healthcare experience through an association focused specifically on hospitality practices.
