Biography

Colin Freedman, MD, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Dr. Freedman was born and raised in Las Vegas and is proud to call the city his home. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in 2017 and then completed a residency in general psychiatry with the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. The idea of intervening early to potentially positively impact the trajectory of lives always appealed to Dr. Freedman, motivating him to complete a two-year fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.

While Dr. Freedman has trained in multiple clinical settings, he is currently seeing patients who are acutely hospitalized or in his outpatient clinic. In his free time, Dr. Freedman enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Golden Knights and taking his Goldendoodle for long walks.
