Christian B. Jensen is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research interests focus political parties and democratic institutions, especially in the European Union. Before coming to UNLV, Dr. Jensen earned his Ph.D. at UCLA and taught political science at UCLA and the University of Iowa. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Mannheim and the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. His work has been widely published in a variety of scholarly journals including the British Journal of Political Science, European Journal of Political Research, European Union Politics, Governance, Journal of European Public Policy, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Party Politics, Political Research Quarterly, and Political Studies.
