Biography
Christian Ison joined the School of Integrated Health Sciences during fall 2019 as a doctoral student and graduate assistant. After completing his doctoral degree at UNLV, Ison was hired as an assistant professor-in-residence. Ison earned his bachelor and master’s degree in kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. In 2023, Ison earned his doctoral degree in kinesiology and his research focuses on college student health and wellness. Since arriving at UNLV, Ison has taught several kinesiology courses within the undergraduate program. Currently, Ison teaches and develops courses for the School of Integrated Health Sciences.
