Cedar Cloyd
DJ name: Course Control
Biography
Cedar Cloyd is one half of the DJ and producer duo Course Control. Cloyd worked for The Boeing Company as a software product manager for four years. He directly interfaced with the end customer (airlines) to uncover how Boeing could build and deliver effective software solutions. Simultaneously, he oversaw a team of software developers and user interface designers that would build out and bring to market those solutions. After four years in corporate America, Cloyd decided to turn his hobby (DJing) into a full-time business.
Cloyd has spent the better part of the last 10 years performing at nightclubs with the likes of Morgan Page, Bingo Players, the Ying Yang Twins, and many more. He established himself as one of Seattle’s top DJs by landing a coveted headlining residency at Seattle’s largest nightclub, Aston Manor. Since moving to Las Vegas, he still holds two residencies with nightclubs in Seattle.
In Las Vegas, Course Control has played at notable venues like Kassi Beach House, Area 15, Discopussy, and Fremont Street Experience. He also co-runs a mobile DJ company for weddings, corporate, and private events. In addition to his role as a DJ, Cloyd runs a private recording studio for up-and-coming local artists and is a key contributor to the Course Control YouTube channel.
