Cassandra Taloma has served the Southern Nevada marketing and communications industry for nearly 10 years, starting as an intern reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. After graduating from the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at UNLV, she interned for the City of Las Vegas assisting with their communications office. Cassandra has developed social media and marketing strategies for several public and private agencies including Vegas PBS, the Clark County School District, Las Vegas Sands, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. She spent most of her career in the hospitality industry focusing on integrating marketing strategies for luxury resorts. She returned to UNLV in 2024 to lead marketing and communications for the School of Nursing.
