Biography
Professor Flores (Ph.D, Arizona State University) studies the production and circulation of rhetoric in public and counterpublic spaces. Dr. Flores utilizes participatory and qualitative approaches to study the rhetorical practices and values alongside local communities. Additionally, he has also conducted research in the areas of digital rhetoric, popular culture, and critical media studies. His recent work has appeared in New Media Society, and has been presented at conferences such as the Rhetoric Society of America, National Communication Association, and the Western States Communication Association.
