Bryan Bornholdt, Ph.D.

Biography
Bryan Bornholdt (Ph.D., University of Wyoming) is an associate professor in residence in the Honors College. He teaches Honors College Algebra, Calculus I, and Calculus II, and is in the process of developing a new 400-level seminar on data driven solutions. In recognition of his teaching methods and dedication to supporting his students, Bornholdt received the 2022 Len Zane Excellence in Honors Teaching Award.
Before joining the faculty at the Honors College, Bornholdt served as faculty at Dixie State University, Utah State University, and Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University). In these roles, he taught algebra, trigonometry, calculus, C++, JAVA, introductory statistics, statics, discrete mathematics, differential equations, linear algebra, complex variables, and numerical analysis. In addition, he has taught public school and worked in the defense industry. Outside of work, he enjoys juggling, cycling, unicycling, and technical rock climbing.
