Dr. Brock Wentz, an assistant professor in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, specializes in the treatment of patients with pelvis and acetabular fractures, periarticular fractures and complex polytrauma.

He has subspecialty training in trauma and focuses on both pediatric and adult fracture care.

Dr. Wentz received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine and completed residency training at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. After residency, Dr. Wentz completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at the University of California, San Francisco -- San Francisco General Hospital.

Dr. Wentz is the program director of the University of Nevada Las Vegas Orthopaedic Residency Program. He has published a variety of scientific articles and a textbook chapter related to orthopaedic trauma care.

Dr. Wentz presents annually at multiple local and national meetings and routinely teaches the latest techniques in fracture care to physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
