Brad Cameron has been in the technology industry for over 32 years as an engineer and executive leader. His experience spans industries including telecommunications, enterprise software, and cloud computing where he currently leads the engineering team at Vertex, the trusted leader in tax technology for enterprises. After earning his engineering degree in systems and computer engineering from Carleton University, he began his career as a software engineer in Canada, after which he moved to Texas and then Silicon Valley, accumulating five years of early-stage startup experience in three companies before moving on to senior roles at Oracle and Salesforce. He has been in executive engineering leadership roles for over 12 years, leading the development of people around the world and the innovation of new technologies. Brad and his wife Marnie relocated to Las Vegas in 2020, after 20 years in the Bay Area.
