Biography
Bobbie Jo Trude has five years of experience as a university instructor and internship coordinator. Previous experience includes human resources, recruitment and operations management. Her experience, education and passion provide the understanding and motivation as the School of Public Health’s Internship Coordinator. Bobbie Jo is passionate about public health, specifically in the area of exercise and chronic disease management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness, and a master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Arizona State University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. She has a strong understanding of public health challenges, specifically in the areas of the movement sciences and health. Bobbie Jo is interested in providing resources and education to help others live their best life. Through her position, as an internship coordinator, she is able to work with future public health professionals and help them develop their confidence and career skills, to be successful in their career.
