Angelica was born in Honduras and has lived in Las Vegas since 2010. She is also a first-generation student graduating from UNLV in 2022 with her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience. As an undergraduate, Angelica dedicated three years working at the Wilson Advising Center as a student worker advocating for students’ success and well-being. Before returning to the Wilson Advising Center, Angelica worked at CSN as an academic advisor for the Social and Behavioral Science area of study, helping students achieve their academic goals. Continuing this passion of student success, Angelica joined the Wilson Advising Center team as an academic advisor in August 2023 inspired to assist students in the College of Liberal Arts to reach their academic potential and achieve their educational and professional goals. Angelica enjoys spending time with her family and her three dogs as well as reading books and hiking.
